Performing the title role in "The Notebook of Trigorin" by Tennessee Williams

I am playing Trigorin in The Notebook of Trigorin, Tennessee Williams’ loose adaptation of Chekhov’s The Seagull. Click here for a link for address and tickets. Along with this talented ensemble, I feel privileged Barbara Mackenzie-Wood is playing Arkadina opposite me, my old acting teacher from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. It is in Brooklyn at the Irondale Ensemble Project in Fort Greene in a beautifully converted church space. The artistic director Jim Niesen directed it with a conceptual framework about a group of actors that have gathered, young and old, to talk about the play and the performance organically grows out of this rehearsal room setting.  Tennessee Williams adds a real poetic pulse to the voices in this play and it’s a rare opportunity to see this version performed. I have only 4 performances left:

Thursday 4/24 at 7:30pm

Friday 4/25 at 7:30pm

Saturday 4/26 at 7:30pm

Sunday 4/27 at 5:00pm
